Amir reveals how he counters opposition batting line-up

Pakistan's experienced fast bowler Mohammad Aamir wants to do well in front of his home audience. In fact, his return to form is really good news for the national cricket team and fans. As one of the best bowlers in the world, Aamir opened up about how he deals with the opposition batting order.

"From my early days, it was my habit to start looking at the batsman whenever I finish my work and stationed at my fielding place, I look at him [batsman] Footwork and see what he is trying to do, ”Aamir said in a video.

Earlier, the pace bowler jumped six places in the latest ICC rankings for ODI bowlers and is now placed 7th with 663 points along with Australian speedster Mitchell Starc from 13th position.

Aamir's sensational improvement can be seen in his ranking after showing the top-order bowling spell during the home series against Sri Lanka. He was economical in his approach and also took 4 wickets in 2 matches against the visitors.

It is also notable that Pakistan's main bowler became the country's highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in the World Cup 2019 tournament.

Talking about his return to Pakistan in international cricket, Aamir said that he is feeling proud and excited to perform in front of domestic fans as he feels that playing in front of the crowd is a great honor.

He said, "It is a great honor for us to play in front of our domestic audience, and we cricketers were missing this thing because your stardom only increases when you are performing in front of your home audience, [the crowd] The support motivates us to perform even better, ”he said.
