In Malaysia, 16th September is observed as the national holiday on the occasion of Malaysia Day. The day is also known as Hari Malaysia. One of the interesting things about the day is that if the holiday occurs on Sunday it means the next day Monday will be off for the entire nation apart from Kelantan, Johor, Terengganu, and Kedah. According to the Communications and Multimedia Minister, Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, The theme of this year’s Malaysia Day is ‘Malaysia Prihatin’.
