How delayed are live sports on TV?
As a sports fan, I've always wondered how delayed live sports on TV actually are. After doing some research, I learned that there is a slight delay, usually ranging from a few seconds to a minute, depending on the broadcasting network and location. This delay occurs due to the time it takes to process and transmit the video signal from the venue to your TV screen. Additionally, streaming services may have a slightly longer delay compared to cable or satellite broadcasts. So, while we enjoy watching our favorite sports live, it's important to remember that there might be a small time lag between the actual event and what we see on our screens.
